Actonians Association awarded the Ealing Sports Club of the Year 2018

A letter from the chairman

Hi Eric

At the Ealing Sports awards on the 12th July, we were voted Sports club of the year. The strength of our submission was based on the diversity , openness and friendliness of the club founded on the broad range of sports which we provide. we were praised by the presenter Marcus Buckland of Sky Sports , for our junior and schools coaching programmes, something on which we should continue to build. We were up against Ealing , Southall and Middlesex athletics club, London Tigers football club and London United basketball club, all of whom are very successful clubs in their own right.

We are grateful for all the work done by all the volunteers in each section and your dedication and commitment is greatly appreciated, on behalf of the Directors and Erik we would like to thank for your continued work and look forward to more success in the future.

Regards

Kevin Mahoney and Erik Kristensen.
